By ordering from Logica Beauty Supplies you agree that you have read, understood and to be bound by the terms.


1) Corglen CC T/A Logica Beauty Supplies conforms to the criteria outlined by the new CPA (Consumer Protection Act) effective 1 April 2011
2) We advise all our Customers to get information on the new CPA and how it affects them.
3) Logica Beauty Supplies strives to conform to the requirements of the Department of Health where beauty equipment is concerned and the requirements of NRCS (National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications - the governing body for the SABS) on other equipment
4) Logica Beauty Supplies only supplies to professional beauty therapists and nail technicians who have trained at accredited training institutions. In purchasing from us you are confirming that you have the valid certification and relevant knowledge to utilise or operate said GOODS/purchases. Logica Beauty Supplies reserves the right to request proof of such qualification if deemed necessary
5) The onus is on the Customer/purchaser to ensure that only suitably qualified personnel operate or utilise GOODS/ products/furniture/equipment which has been purchased. Use of equipment by unqualified persons could cause harm to themselves and other people involved
6) Logica Beauty Supplies operates on a COD basis. All goods ordered must be paid for on delivery or collection, or where a third party is used for such delivery, payment should be made prior to goods being sent.
7) In the event of payment not having been received by Logica Beauty Supplies from the customer on delivery of the GOODS, despite proof of payment having been provided, the customer shall pay interest on all overdue amounts from the due date to date of payment, both days inclusive, at the rate of 2% (Two percent) above the Prime Overdraft rate per annum, as charged by Logica Beauty Supplies' bank.
8) We accept cash, cheques (not post dated), and credit cards (excluding American Express & Diners) for payment. In the event of paying by cheque (only by prior arrangement) we will need a copy of your ID. If however we get an unpaid cheque for any reason whatsoever R100-00 bank charges will be charged and we will no longer accept cheque payments from you.
9) Ownership of the GOODS shall remain vested in Logica Beauty Supplies until the purchase price has been paid in full and any discounts given will be revoked if the amount owing exceeds 120days.
10) In the event of an attorney being instructed to collect any overdue amounts owing by the customer to Logica Beauty Supplies or to institute any legal proceedings for any amounts owed to Logica Beauty Supplies by the Customer, the customer shall be liable for all attorney and own client costs, including collection commissions, incurred by Logica Beauty Supplies.
11) A fuel surcharge will be charged will be charged on orders to be delivered as indicated on the Logica Beauty Supplies delivery schedule in the Northern Suburbs, Southern Suburbs and some outlaying areas. All furniture deliveries in these specific areas will carry also carry a delivery charge. Always arrange to be at your premises on the day of delivery. (Else make other arrangements) We often get to salons and either the person is not there or no money was left. You will be charged for delivery again if our driver or the independent courier needs to deliver the same parcel to you again. Please ensure your delivery address is correct as we will not be responsible for the cost to resend a parcel that is returned due to an incorrect address. Unfortunately it is impossible for us to give a time of delivery as this depends on variable factors. In the event of us being out of stock on a certain item we will contact you once it arrives.. You can then place an order or wait till you place another order as not all back orders qualify for free delivery. Unfortunately back orders are on a first come first serve basis, so we cannot guarantee stock if you do not take it immediately. Back orders are also subject to a delivery fee if the back order is less than R200. This rule excludes furniture which will always carry a delivery fee or courier fee for outlaying areas regardless of the amount. Outlaying areas not on the Logica Beauty Supplies delivery schedule will always need to pay the quoted courier or postage fee.
12) Risk shall pass onto the customer/purchaser once POD (proof of delivery) is signed. Any other areas deliveries (not on the Logica Beauty Supplies delivery schedule) will be sent via our nominated carrier and the freight and insurance charge will be for the customer/purchaser's account. Risk shall pass onto the customer/purchaser once POD (proof of delivery) is signed. When using a third party such as a family member or in dependant courier company to collect the parcel on your behalf. The risk shall pass to the person receiving the parcel at our premises. No goods will be sent via courier or post without full payment being made into our bank account. (Please use your client number as a reference on the deposit slip) We have to get the parcels ready before 1 o'clock every day and therefore all orders placed or payments received after this time will only be sent the next day. All parcels sent with couriers will be received within 2 - 4 days from date of payment made. After your order has been placed for courier or postage you will receive your amount for payment within 24 hours via sms, so please ensure that we have your correct cell phone number.
13) Always ensure that all orders are placed by 15h00 (for areas listed on the Logica Delivery Schedule) the day before as our drivers leave early in the morning and we can't keep them waiting. If you need to change or cancel an order please do so the day before delivery by 15h00. No cancellation will be accepted for any goods specially made or ordered. All goods can be viewed at our showroom or on line on www.logicabeauty.com. Ordering can be done by telephone, fax, email or on line.
14) Logica Beauty Supplies quotes and sales orders are valid for 14 days only and stock will only be reserved once payment has been made and the order and payment confirmed by Logica Beauty Supplies. This does not mean that the stock is available, but merely that we will order the stock for you once payment has been received.
15) Logica Beauty Supplies pricelists vary intermittently as they are subject to fluctuations in the exchange rate as well as price increases from factories. Please ask for a quotation first as prices can change without notice.
16) All furniture and equipment sold by Logica Beauty Supplies has a 6 month warrantee and any freight costs incurred for claims or returns will be for the customer/purchasers account. Furniture Warrantee does not extend to upholstery (eg. Vinyl or PU leather) and normal wear and tear including scratches, shrinkages and changes in the colour of the wood.
17) Logica Beauty Supplies reserves the right to refuse any claim should the equipment have:
• been mishandled in any way,
• been operated by any unqualified personnel,
• failed to have been operated in the means to which it was intended or advised
• been subjected to any lightning strikes or power surges (we insist that all electrical products are used with a surge protector for the safety of consumers as well as the protection of the integrity of the equipment)
• incurred any destruction or damage by fire, tempest, flood, vermin, rust, riot, civil commotion or force majeure
• Warranty does not cover globes, glass items or attachments on equipment, please refer to the individual user manual or warranty slip to ensure you know what is covered under the warranty.
18) Please ensure that you purchased the correct GOODS/product/equipment/ furniture for your needs and that you have read the Warrantee and instructions on furniture and equipment prior to use. Should you find on delivery that the goods are unsuitable and return them with our driver, there will be a delivery charge applicable.
19) Logica Beauty Supplies shall not accept any claim by the customer unless submitted in writing and received by Logica Beauty Supplies within five (5) days of receipt of goods by the customer from Logica Beauty Supplies or the carrier. The claim will only be considered if the goods are in it's original packaging and unopened or undamaged. Should the customer fail to communicate a claim as detailed above, the customer shall be deemed to have accepted the GOODS as being in good order and condition in all respects. Please report any damages or shortages within 48 hours of receipt of goods; Logica does not any take responsibility for goods short delivered or damaged after this period. Logica Beauty Supplies reserves the right to appoint a representative of the company to inspect the item returned before a credit, repair or replacement is considered. Sale or shop-soiled items will not be considered for refund or replacement. No refunds will be given in the form of payment, but a credit will reflect on your account. Only goods brought back to us will be considered for credit, and only the amount of which was brought back. If you thus use up half of the product before returning it, you will only be credited for 50% of the product that is unused.
20) Logica Beauty Supplies shall not accept any claim unless the GOODS are returned in the original, undamaged container and/or packaging.
21) Logica Beauty Supplies shall not be liable for any loss of profits, loss of savings, or any other actual or consequential damage of whatsoever nature arising from any defect in the GOODS.
22) Logica Beauty Supplies relies exclusively on the information provided by the manufacturers of the GOODS supplied to the customer, and offers no warranty or guarantee in respect of the correctness of same.
23) Logica Beauty Supplies does not warrant that the GOODS sold to the customer will meet the requirements for which the customer has purchased the GOODS. And any failure on the part of the GOODS will be handled strictly in accordance with the warranty of the manufacturer concerned, the details of which will be provided by Logica Beauty Supplies on request.
24) The customer bears the cost of any unsuccessful claim lodged by Logica Beauty Supplies with the manufacturer of the GOODS on behalf of the customer.
